Ballplayers Foundation Featured on Local 10’s SoFlo Health

The Ballplayers Foundation was proud to be featured on WPLG Local 10’s SoFlo Health, hosted by Hunter Franqui, on May 3, 2026, sharing our mission to help South Florida youth athletes access the resources they need to stay in the game.

The segment featured Danny Berry, Ballplayers Foundation Ambassador and Manager of Miami Beach Little League, who shared a coach’s perspective on the importance of youth sports and the difference that access to financial support can make for families.

Also joining the conversation was Claudia Sanchez, a Ballplayers Foundation parent whose two sons have received support from the Foundation since Fall 2024. Claudia shared her family’s experience and offered a firsthand look at how the Foundation’s support can help young athletes continue participating in the sports they love.

SoFlo Health is a WPLG Local 10 program highlighting health, wellness, fitness and stories from people and organizations making an impact throughout South Florida.
