Home Run Derby Miami-Dade Raises $27,826

The Ballplayers Foundation's Miami-Dade Home Run Derby brought together athletes, families, sponsors, and community members for a day centered around competition, connection, and purpose.

With participants across multiple age groups, the event created an energetic and inclusive environment where young athletes had the opportunity to compete, be celebrated, and be part of something bigger than the game itself.

Thanks to the incredible support of our sponsors, volunteers, and community partners, the event raised $27,826 — funding that will support approximately 76 youth athletes.

These funds will help cover registration fees, league participation, tournaments, uniforms, and other essential costs — making it possible for more young athletes to stay in the game.

As a 100% volunteer-run organization, events like this are critical to our mission. Every swing, every registration, and every supporter helps us remove financial barriers and keep more kids in the game.
